Winter Show Retrospective

Monday, February 8th, 2010

As the winter show season is starting to wrap up, I think we can honestly say that 2010 is starting out on the right foot.

All of the shows have been very upbeat, with customers ready to buy new products. We did not hear the discouragement that we did last year.

I think everyone who made it through 2009 learned an awful lot. We learned how to operate leaner and be creative. I know it was certainly a challenging year to get through, but we can all be very proud that we have come out of it stronger and smarter!

A New Car for Anne!

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Hi, and Happy Friday!

Show season is winding down, and I’m finally starting to have parts of my desk cleared off again! We’ve had such a great show season this month. 2010-01-09 18.07.51I also find it very inspiring!

I heard a lot of great ideas and game plans for 2010.

I am going to let the pictures I took speak for my blog today.

Make sure you look for yourself!

2010 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market…and Snow!

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

It was a record breaking show for many vendors at the Atlanta Market.

While there were buyers crammed into crowded showrooms, the weather was playing havoc on the Atlanta landscape.  Icy Georgia highways were shut down and schools were closed for an entire week!  Atlanta set its own record with record breaking low temperatures – the lowest in 20-25 years.snow (more…)
