Can you believe it’s already July 9th? I can’t believe how fast the first half of the year flew by. I guess this second half will fly by just as fast!
For this week, I just wanted to share one of my favorite new pieces.
Greetings from Bucketville: Home of the Blossom Bucketeers!

Hello, and Happy Friday!
Every morning when I get into the office, I give the Bucket Birds new water, and just check up on them. Between the two nests in the cage, we have plenty of baby birds, and I like to make sure all of the adults have enough food and water to help them take care of the babies.
Earlier in the week, Mary, Kristy and I removed one of the nests from the cage to see the babies close up. One left the nest, and we got to hold him. Super cute!
Yesterday, as I sat at my desk trying to come up with a topic for my Friday blog, I noticed that the birds were going nuts! I walked over to the cage, and there was a baby bird on the back wall! Everyone in the office came up to check it out – what a cutie pie!
Hi, and Happy Friday!

As you know from my previous posts, our Bucket Birds had filled their nests with several little white eggs! At our last count, we had 15 eggs.
When we came in on Monday, we discovered that some had hatched over the weekend! We now have close to 9 baby Zebra finches, but we can’t tell for sure if there are any more – they are so tiny!
Hi there, and Happy Saturday!
I hope you’re having a lovely holiday weekend so far!
If you know me at all, you know it’s pretty much impossible for me to NOT get involved with anything involving animals. I have had my share of pets, worked at a pet store, and even volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center. Once the Bucket Birds were brought into the office, I kind of went nuts about them and decided to learn everything I could about them.
Here are some fun facts about our feathered friends!
Hello, and Happy Friday!
Hopefully you’re getting ready to have a nice, long holiday weekend. Our office is closed today, and we’ll be closed on Monday, too. It’s time to get our rest before we start the holiday shipping and summer show seasons!
When I came into the office on Monday, the first thing I noticed was the crazy mess the Bucket Birds had made. For little birds, you’d be surprised at how far they can fling birdseed! (more…)
Hello, and Happy Sunday!
On Friday, we welcomed 7 new members into our “Bucket Family.”
Cindy got us seven Zebra finches for the office! They are so cute and little – and, the best part – super quiet!
We’re all in love.

To remind us all that we are not waiting in vain, here’s a quote of the day for spring.
“Every year hath its winter,
Every year its rain—
But a day is always coming
When the birds go north again.”

Hi, and Happy Friday!
I am FINALLY mailing out my Christmas cards today. I love sending cards in the mail, and this time of year is no exception. I bought a few boxes of cards to send, and then decided to have some made to send to my family.
