Resolution Time!

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Hi there, and Happy Friday!

I still can’t get over the fact that we only have one more day until January. How has your week been? Are you busy thinking about those resolutions?

I don’t know if I will have an actual “resolution” this year. I’m might just carry over mine from last year, and maybe add another one… or ten. I’m pretty proud of how last year worked out, so I’m going to make 2012 another great year. I’m going to work on being less stressed out, keep my money in check, and take time for ME and learn to say NO when I need to. It’s always such a hard lesson! I’ll be spending time figuring out what makes me happy, and really dedicating myself to that. Life is too short to be miserable for even one day!

I hope the first week of 2012 will be great for you. I’d love to hear how you’re planning on sticking to your resolutions!

Have a great weekend,
Anne

New Year’s Resolutions: A History

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

“A New Year’s resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other.”

The  tradition of New Year’s Resolutions goes all the way back to 153 BC when a mythical king of early Rome was placed at the head of the calendar, where he looked back on past events and forward to the future. Once a tradition of performing simple good deeds, modern day resolutions often involve breaking negative patterns.

2011 – One Week Down…

Friday, January 7th, 2011

Hi there, and Happy Friday!

I still can’t get over the fact that it is already January 7th. We’re already one week into this new year, and I feel like it is already flying by! We’re still not used to typing or writing 2011 in the office. I even typed 2007 a few times.

How has your week been? Are you sticking with those resolutions?

Resolutions for 2011

Sunday, January 2nd, 2011

Well, it is officially a new year.  It may just be me, but 2010 just seemed to fly by.

In retrospect, I don’t think that’s such a good thing.

Usually, the “new year” starts for me on my birthday.  That’s when I find myself evaluating where I am, where I want to be, and what I can do to get there.  That’s when I set goals and make resolutions.  But, I think I’m making an exception for 2011.

Happy New Year’s Eve!

Friday, December 31st, 2010

108-82692Hi there, and Happy New Years Eve!

What are your plans for tonight?

I hope they involve glitter, fake eyelashes, crazy high heels, and noise makers. And I’m not even joking! Any excuse for crazy fake eyelashes with feathers is just fine with me! 2010 has been an amazing year for me and my friends and family. Here’s to making 2011 even BETTER!

Anyway, from all of us here at “The Bucket,” have a wonderful and SAFE New Years Eve! We’ll see you in 2011! Don’t forget to eat that sauerkraut! (If you don’t, don’t worry: I always eat plenty!)

Ready for a Brand New Year!

Thursday, December 30th, 2010

collegiategroup3Well, another year has gone by and the Christmas rush is behind us.  It’s time for us to gear up for the New Year.

We finished our annual physical inventory with very little variance.  Our distribution center employees take great pride in our inventory so that we can provide our customers great service.

With the New Year rapidly approaching, containers are coming in with the new 2011 product.   Be sure to check out our new collegiate line; we’ve added several new teams, and are working on more all the time.  These will make great gifts.

We will be back in the swing of things January 3rd to see that these great new items make it to store shelves.

We hope you enjoyed the holidays, and wish you a prosperous New Year.

Steve

Merry Christmas & Happy Show Season!

Thursday, December 23rd, 2010

Believe it or not, Christmas is upon us, and I hope everyone has completed their Christmas shopping.

Winter definitely jumped on us quickly this year, and it doesn’t look like it is going anywhere anytime soon!

We will be leaving for the winter shows right after the first of the year, so I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, and I hope to see everyone at the upcoming shows.
