Celebrating March!

114-83822March is a big month for me because there are so many celebratory events crammed into 31 days.

Not only do I have a birthday and wedding anniversary, but the month also introduces the first day of spring, the beginning daylight savings time, Lent and St. Patrick’s Day.

As you can tell, I will not be lacking an excuse to gather together with friends and family.

This spring, Blossom Bucket is debuting  a great line of Celebration items by artist Suzi Skoglund.  There is something for every occasion!

Basketball Season for Kristy!

Lady Stangs 2009 2010As most of you know my kids keep me super busy with their love of sports.   We ended Marching Band, Volleyball, and Football season at the end of October.

November is here and that means only one thing…Basketball season is upon us.   I am very partial to Basketball because I played when I was in school.   This mom used to be able to play some hoops, believe it or not!

I get such an enjoyment watching them learn and grow with every practice.

Go Buckeyes!

OSU GroupCollege football is winding down.  Ohio State has 3 games left: Penn State at home, Iowa away, and the rivalry game with Michigan at home.

The number 9 rated Buckeyes need to win these three games to have a chance to go back to the Rose Bowl.

The Buckeyes come off of a bye week and hopefully are prepared for these next three games.  As usual, I will be in front of the TV watching and rooting for them.

Along with working here at the Bucket, I cater in my “spare” time! I work for Charlie Brown’s Catering out of Massillon, and it’s so much fun!

I work for some great friends, and I get to work WITH some great friends at the same time! It almost doesn’t seem like work, until I pour some hot coffee down my own leg. It happens, I guess!

I’ll be working tomorrow evening for a 25th anniversary party. I love anniversary parties. Okay, okay… I love ALL parties! Anniversaries are just so special. For next year, we have this cute Suzi Skoglund piece coming out – I think it’s just perfect!
