One of my favorites is a Christmas Farm Friends Collection by Barbara Lloyd.  These Candy-Striped Sheep Ornaments will add a whimsical touch to any holiday decoration.

First Mission Trip

"Blessed in His Love" Plaque - 1011-84328Today my 14 year old daughter, Audri, is leaving on her very first mission trip.

She is an active member of the Over Flow youth program at Stanwood Community Church in Navarre, OH.   The youth group is leaving this morning to Inner City Impact in Logan Square, IL (a suburb of Chicago).  Inner City Impact has served the inner city of Chicago since 1972.  They reach out to kids ages 5-18 in some of Chicago’s toughest neighborhoods.

More Display Ideas from The Gateway!

If you have a vendor’s license, and are in the area, then I hope we will be seeing you at The Gateway to Amish Country today for our vendor-only Grand Re-Opening event from 9am – 4pm.

If you’re not a vendor, but still live close enough to visit, we’ll be welcoming you to The Gateway on May 20th from 4pm – 9pm and May 21st 10am – 4pm for Girls’ Night Out before School Is Out!

Bird Cabinet - cWhether you’re able to come to The Gateway or not, you can still enjoy some of the colorful and original displays throughout, and maybe pick up a few ideas for your own decorating!

Above is a weathered cabinet which cheerfully showcases some Blossom Bucket, Inc. spring products!  To help create that spring feeling, we added bird nests, moss mushrooms, wreaths and more, including several birds designed by Deb Strain.

Spring Is Around the Corner…Well, Almost!

111-83684I know it’s only February 1st, but I am so ready for spring!

I know we still have a lot of winter days ahead before those daffodils start poking their heads out of the soil, but this weekend we hit 70 degrees here in Georgia, and everyone thought it was summertime and were out in their shorts and flip flops.

It is raining for the next 2 days, so it didn’t last long.

We have great new designers and fabulous new product ready to ship in 2011!   From Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter there is a little bit for everyone in this new catalog.
