Now that fall items are on the shelves, it is time to turn our attention to Christmas. I know it seems like Christmas Day is a long way away, but for the retail world it is just around the corner. This year we have many new collections and great themes add to your holiday décor.
One of my favorites is a Christmas Farm Friends Collection by Barbara Lloyd. These Candy-Striped Sheep Ornaments will add a whimsical touch to any holiday decoration.
It’s that time of the year where the kids start back to school, and that means football is back.
Last weekend started the high school football season here.
High school football is very big around here. Some games will have attendance over 15,000 people.
I go to a high school game every weekend. It’s a lot of fun watching the rivalries.
Baby it’s Cold Outside….well not exactly!
Most of us are experiencing record high heat waves!
We understand it’s hard to think about the cold, snow, and Christmas at the end of July, but it is important to place Christmas orders as soon as possible.
We are shipping Christmas products daily and stock is running low!
We have several new designers and new designs that you are going to love for the 2011 holiday season.

I hope everyone had a nice Mother’s Day. I did! I love my kids…they sure did spoil me yesterday. I wish every day was Mother’s Day.
Now that Easter and Mother’s Day are behind us, it’s time to think fall and Christmas! Stock is selling out quickly and we start shipping fall product in less than a month.
Yes, less than a month!!
I have so many favorite pieces this year. How can you not fall in love with this piece: “Chillin’ with my Peeps” (below) designed by Shelly Comiskey, or this “Skinny Woman” Witch (at left) designed by Dan DiPaolo?
This time of year is always crazy for me.
Now that we are coming to the end of the winter trade shows, it’s time to get the orders placed with the factories. I’ve been placing orders for all the Halloween, Fall and Christmas items. I’ve also been working with the factories to get the orders scheduled for shipment so we have all the items here on time to fill our customers’ orders. (more…)

It is hard to believe that the 2011 winter trade show season has arrived!
This is traditionally the busiest time of year for the sales department as our customers visit our showrooms to check out all of the creative new merchandise from Blossom Bucket. It is always great to catch up with our customers and work with them as they make their purchasing decisions.
This year, I will be working back-to-back-to-back-to-back shows: Philadelphia ~ Atlanta ~ Las Vegas~ Market Square. This is a crazy schedule, and it is hard to be away from my family for so long, but with all of that travel, winter seems to pass by a lot more quickly!
Several weeks ago a crew from Ohio journeyed down to Atlanta to make ready the showroom for the Atlanta Gift Show starting in January.
We unpacked new product, set up new displays, and prepared everything for the huge crowd expected for those 8 days.
The showroom has a new look with some added displays and fabulous new product. The picture you see here is of a gingerbread house, created by Blossom Bucket, Inc. owner Cindy Lowry, which displays all our new gingerbread items.
It looks unbelievable!
For those of you who cannot stop by our showroom, Building 2 701, to see us, we are excited to offer you a peek at one of our displays! We have worked hard getting everything ready, and we hope everyone will love it!!

Hi there, and Merry Christmas Eve!
Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year. I know I always say that for just about every holiday, but it’s just the truth!
This afternoon, I’m going to meet my brother Jon at our dad’s house, and make dinner for our whole family.
After we eat, my cousins and I all gather at the dining room table and play several violent rounds of Catch Phrase. (If you’ve never played, I highly recommend it. I carry mine in my car year round – no kidding!)
