Fun Facts on the “Bucket Birds”

I hope you’re having a lovely holiday weekend so far!

If you know me at all, you know it’s pretty much impossible for me to NOT get involved with anything involving animals. I have had my share of pets, worked at a pet store, and even volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center. Once the Bucket Birds were brought into the office, I kind of went nuts about them and decided to learn everything I could about them.

Hello, and Happy Friday!

Hopefully you’re getting ready to have a nice, long holiday weekend. Our office is closed today, and we’ll be closed on Monday, too. It’s time to get our rest before we start the holiday shipping and summer show seasons!

When I came into the office on Monday, the first thing I noticed was the crazy mess the Bucket Birds had made. For little birds, you’d be surprised at how far they can fling birdseed! (more…)

On Friday, we welcomed 7 new members into our “Bucket Family.” birds 1

Cindy got us seven Zebra finches for the office! They are so cute and little – and, the best part – super quiet!

All Aboard!

Hello, and Happy Friday!
As we start seeing the new product for 2011, I’m already picking out my favorites. As you know, I go on a cruise just about every single year. I’ve been cruising since 1997, and I just love it with my whole heart! A friend and I are planning a European cruise – all we have to do is save, save, save! I can’t wait! I’m sure it will be one of the best trips ever. That being said, I am actually skipping my cruise this year. I’m getting ready to move into a house and I’ll have all of the lovely expenses with furnishing it and maintaining. Unfortunately, that cuts into my vacation fund! My friends are sad that I’m skipping out, and so am I! Thankfully, I’ve found a perfect gift for them! Check out this fun block designed by Suzi Skoglund! 111-85668

I think it pretty much sums it all up, don’t you? We have so many blocks! What is your favorite? We have beach blocks and sailing blocks, but this is the perfect gift for your “cruisers”! Keep an eye out for it in stores – it’ll be there come January!

Welcome to May!

I come from a long line of huge Ohio State Buckeyes fans, and I am so pumped about the new line that we have coming out! Even my nephew’s nursery is scarlet and grey with Ohio State paraphernalia all over it – and these items are going to fit in just fine! In my family, you can’t start to be a Buckeyes fan early enough!
