Happy New Year’s Eve! I hope you are busy prepping your festivities for the evening! I usually don’t have extravagant plans to ring in the New Year, and this year is the same. I will be making a big roaster full of pork and sauerkraut and watching the ball drop on the television in my living room. Can’t hold this party animal back! Haha!
My family usually brings out the board games, the sparkling grape juice, and the laughs. We spend the evening enjoying each other’s company and trying to beat one another in one of the new games my kids got for Christmas, stopping only to countdown and welcome the brand New Year! It is a blast!
Barbara Lloyd couldn’t have summed it up any better with this new sampler. Family definitely is LOVE.
If you are heading out this evening, have a safe and enjoyable New Year! Welcome, 2012! How do you ring in the New Year?
Happy New Year!

Hi there, and Happy Friday!
I still can’t get over the fact that we only have one more day until January. How has your week been? Are you busy thinking about those resolutions?
I don’t know if I will have an actual “resolution” this year. I’m might just carry over mine from last year, and maybe add another one… or ten. I’m pretty proud of how last year worked out, so I’m going to make 2012 another great year. I’m going to work on being less stressed out, keep my money in check, and take time for ME and learn to say NO when I need to. It’s always such a hard lesson! I’ll be spending time figuring out what makes me happy, and really dedicating myself to that. Life is too short to be miserable for even one day!
I hope the first week of 2012 will be great for you. I’d love to hear how you’re planning on sticking to your resolutions!
Have a great weekend,
Anne

Hi there, and Happy Monday!
With Christmas Day over, it’s on to the next holiday! I don’t mean New Year’s, but Valentine’s Day! I know we’re not even into January yet, but February 14th will come faster than we know it. This is one of my favorite Valentine’s Day pieces, designed by Tina Ledbetter. For this and more, check out our Valentine’s Day category on our website.
Have a lovely week!

Just one more day! I can’t believe how quickly the Christmas season has come upon us. At Blossom Bucket, we are working with Christmas product all year long, so sometimes when we’re in the middle of the holiday season, it’s easy to forget what time of year it is. In fact, I just spent the last week in our new showroom in Dallas setting up the 2012 Christmas display! The winter show season starts the first week of January, and we’ll be featuring our 2012 Harvest & Christmas lines at the various markets. Here’s a sneak peek of one of our new Christmas pieces that we’ll be introducing at the January shows.
Look for this item to arrive in stores next summer!
Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year!

At sunset on Tuesday began the celebration of Hanukkah. Hanukkah is known as the “festival of lights.” It is first and foremost a celebration of freedom won by the individuals who were willing to fight for their religious beliefs.
Find this plaque and other Hanukkah related items on our website – www.BlossomBucket.com
Thanks! Happy Hanukkah!

Hi there!
Today is my brother Neil’s 29th birthday. He’s the one in the middle, between me and our brother Jon. I am very much looking forward to him joining me on this side of 30 next year.
Can you tell we like to have fun together? Jon’s my travel buddy, but Neil is my UFC fight night, my pizza and wing night, and of course, the dad to my #1 favorite nephew. I don’t think anybody pushes my buttons faster than him, and he’s had 29 years to perfect that. He makes fun of my driving, makes fun of me in the car, and pretty much makes fun of me whenever he can. But, at least I can pronounce “Burger King”, “Valentine’s Day” and “envelope” correctly. He can’t. Don’t you just love sibling rivalry? But honestly, I love both of my brothers with my whole heart! They are my best friends forever.
Before I end this post, I will tell a funny story about my brother. When we were all little, Neil was the only one with blonde hair and brown eyes. Both Jon and I have dark hair and blue / green eyes. Jon and I are also “bigger” than Neil – he was always a bean pole! Thankfully he’s thickened up over 29 years. We used to tease him nonstop and tell him he was adopted. One night at dinner, he wouldn’t eat something that the rest of us love, and of course, in true brother – sister fashion, Jon and I had to remind him that he was adopted. He got angry and yelled, “No I am not! I found my birth certificate!!! I am not adopted!” Poor guy felt so bad about our constant teasing that he went through my mom’s dresser and found his birth certificate! I think I felt really bad for about 2.5 seconds, and haven’t looked back. Poor kid! Looking back at pictures of us and of our parents, I’m now 100% sure that he is related to me. I guess I’ll claim him.
Join me in wishing Neil a very Happy Birthday! I love you! Enjoy the year, brother. Once you hit 30, there’s no looking back! But don’t worry… I’ll be reminding you of that for the next 12 months. I wouldn’t want you to forget about it!

I know lately I have driven everyone crazy by constantly showing them my first grandbaby’s pictures. He is just so darn cute that I can’t help but show him off. Well… guess what? My second grandbaby is due in 9 weeks. Coworkers will be running from me for sure now!
This past Saturday, I went to a baby shower for my second grandson, Brady. We had so much fun! It was held at a tea house, and we had our own personal tea party. We had the most delicious scones and tea I have ever tasted. I never thought hot tea could be so good!
Luckily for Momma, she received tons of clothes for her new little man, and I’m sure he will be adorable in all his cute outfits. I can’t wait to show everyone HIS pictures, too!
