Satisfied Customers!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

What an amazing compliment we just received!

One of customers in New York called to let us know about a fantastic sale that she just had. She had customers who, after seeing our product at out website, made a two hour drive to visit her shop specifically for Blossom Bucket, Inc. merchandise! They were very happy with what they found, and the trip was a great success for retailer and consumer alike!

Thank you for sharing this with our Customer Service department! We love hearing things like this, and are so flattered! We appreciate the support of all of our clients and fans!

THANK YOU!

Interesting Article for Business Owners

Sunday, December 6th, 2009

We came across an interesting article in Greenhouse Management & Production magazine that explores means of evaluating your company’s financial health through benchmarking. The article is geared toward the greenhouse and nursery industry, but many of the ideas could easily be applied within the home décor and gift industry, as well as many businesses and industries.

We hope you find some information in this article (click here) relevant to you and your business!

Have a good weekend!

39 Shopping Days ‘Til Christmas!

Monday, November 16th, 2009

098-35015Yes; you did read that correctly.  There are only 39 shopping days left until Christmas, and that’s assuming that stores will be open on Thanksgiving day, though many retailers will not be.

Even if you’re doing your shopping online, it’s not as much time as it sounds like when you begin to factor in shipping times.

I hope everyone has made their lists, checked them twice, and is ready to get out there and wrap up their holiday buying!  Or, in some cases, start their holiday buying!

Good luck!

Black Friday is gaining press as it nears. It’s been mentioned here on the blog in the past few days, we’ve heard about major retailer ads being leaked, and we’re probably all beginning to receive teasers from our favorite local and national stores.

So, what are your plans for Black Friday? (more…)

Help Out Area Schools and Locally Owned Businesses!

Monday, October 5th, 2009

Here is a way to draw new people into your store: donate a project to the school art class!  Even if you’re not a business owner, you could always recommend it to a locally owned shop that you frequent!

Make it simple,  like drawings, simple stitching projects, etc.  Include a notice to be sent home with the kids letting parents know that the projects will be on display at your store.

This will give parents a great excuse to visit your store!  You can even give the kids a little bag of candy for coming to the store.

This type of project benefits the school, helping them to get materials and creative ideas that aren’t always readily available due to limited budgets, as well as helping the business get people into their store.  It’s a win-win situation!

Movie Stars!

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

While I was on the phone the other day with one of our customers, she mentioned something that I had to share! Her shop is famous! That’s right! JNB Country Shoppe, located in Chester, Vermont, was featured in “Moonlight and Mistletoe”, with actors Tom Arnold, Candace Cameron, and Barb Nevin! I could not resist asking Nancy, the owner, a couple of questions about the experience and share it with you!
