There are a lot of new buzz words floating around these days, both in industry and the private sector. Moving speedily to the top of the list is “green.”
In business, in particular, green used to mean one thing: the almighty dollar. Today, though, green has become something very different, and yet not. These days, operating in the green is quickly becoming every bit as important as operating in the black. However, many businesses are facing the challenge of accomplishing both of these goals at once when, under certain conditions, these two ends seem mutually exclusive.
