This past weekend I took a road trip to North Carolina.
We spent the weekend moving my daughter and son-in-law into their new apartment close to Raleigh. What a beautiful place to live!!
It was a long hard weekend but they are all moved in and have already fallen in love with the place.
I keep reminding myself, as a mother, that this is one of the necessary steps of mothering. As sad as it is to see them move 8 hours away, I am still very excited for them, and can remember starting my married life in my first apartment and the excitement that followed.
