Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival started their kick-off on Thursday 7/29/2010 with one of the finest firework displays in downtown Canton.
Friday and Saturday brings the food fest festival, along with balloons sailing through the air. About 5:45AM I saw a couple of balloons sailing over my house. You wouldn’t get me in one.
Wednesday through Friday the following week is the ribs burn off. If you like ribs, this is the place to be.
Then, on Friday the 6th of August, they start their fashion show luncheon and in evening is the enshrinee’s dinner. My wife has been to the fashion show and she says it is wonderful. We’ve been to the dinner several times and it is a lot of fun.
Saturday morning there’s a big parade downtown. You should see the people on the parade route having a great time.
Then, that evening, is the HOF enshrinement. You hear some great speeches from some great athletes. Sunday evening is the HOF game. It’s the first preseason game so it’s hard to keep interested in the whole game.
