The signs that summer is coming to an end are all there: pumpkins and scarecrows are starting to pop up in stores, the first preseason football game has taken place, and a new school year is about to begin.
My kids are just thrilled about that last part (yeah, right!). My older son is starting high school this year and my younger son is starting fifth grade. Like most parents, I can’t believe how quickly they are growing up. My older son likes to remind me that he’ll be driving in a little more than a year!
