Every January and July I head to Atlanta to work our showroom at the AmericasMart.
While it is very difficult to leave my family, it always turns out to be one of the most inspirational things I do for work all year.
It is so great to see everyone, and to hear about how things are going and what plans they have for the upcoming year. I get to talk to customers about what works and does not work. It is a great time, and I love seeing everyone. I learn so much about consumer trends and needs.
I come back to the office with more ideas than my hands can type.
It is also a great time to see my co-workers who work outside of the office. I talk to them no less than weekly, but never get to see them.
Retailers were very excited about our new product for 2011. The most popular was without a doubt Deb Strain’s new line. It is very cute with brilliant blue colors (see the sampling above!). Make sure you check it out!
