The summer show season is slowly coming to an end. I think it is moving so slowly because of how hot it has been just about everywhere.

I am in Philadelphia right now at the Philadelphia Gift Show, and the temperature today is actually nice: it was about 70 this morning, and it is only supposed to get up to about 85 with little humidity. I know during setup it was miserable. Two days in a row it was about 95 degrees out with a heat index of about 108. But, the good news is that the heat hasn’t seemed to discourage people from coming to the show. The traffic was very good for the first day of the show, and so far today it has been pretty good.

After I leave Philadelphia, I am going straight to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Market Center Gift Show August 2^nd – 6^th. This will be our first time out there, so I am looking forward to a good show.

I hope to see many more of our retailers out at one of the remaining shows, and please stay cool out there or just make sure that you stay in air conditioning somewhere.
