Chalkboard Flower Pots DIY

3-c
Continuing with the green and garden theme we began with last week’s Hosta Lead Candle Holders project, this week we have another DIY that brings the outdoors in, and will be especially fun for the kitchen!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • •terracotta pot with tray
  • •chalkboard paint
  • •potting soil
  • •herb(s)
  • •chalk
  • •Your favorite Blossom Bucket item(s)

Step One:

Paint the body of your terracotta pot(s) with your chalkboard paint. Leave the lip of the pot and the tray unpainted.

Allow the pot(s) to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step Two:

2

Fill your flower pot(s) with the potting soil, and add your herbs.

You can start with seeds, and grow your herbs, or re-pot some that are already grown.

Step Three:

Now it’s time to label your pot(s), so you know exactly what you’re growing!

Don’t be afraid to be creative by adding more decorative touches to your pot(s) with colored chalk and fun designs! And, you can reuse your pot(s) as often as you like; just erase and start again!

We accented our herb pots with our “Grow with Love” Angel designed by Robin Davis!

Check out the Flowers & Garden category at BlossomBucket.com for more items that will complement this project perfectly!
