Two years ago, we purchased a farm at auction that was in terrible disrepair.
We fell in love with the setting: the farm land, forest, and streams were calling our names!
Jim enjoys hunting, Zack enjoys riding four-wheelers, and I love animals! Seemed like the perfect place for us, and I fell in love with the 1832 bank barn that needed some serous help.
We started on the bank barn first in order to save it. Everyone told us to tear it down, but I was set on saving it. We found an Amish crew that agreed with me. They started from the bottom and worked their way up. After about 10 months of some serious hard work the barn it is finished.
Today our barn is a site to see. It is fabulous!! We ended up putting horse stalls in the bottom just in case!
