Hi there, and Happy Friday!
This week has been such a long week! The Atlanta show has been over for a while now, and the other July shows are starting to wrap up. We’ve been so busy!
I’m always looking for fun ways to unwind and de-stress, and I decided that I would bake this week! As you know, I come from a long line of crazy bakers. Both of my grandmothers loved to bake, and so does my mom. We like to make things from scratch, and of course, we don’t know how to make just one…
Above is a picture of some cupcakes I whipped up! I even went fancy with the icing, and used homemade strawberry puree to color it pink! They’re delicious! I had to bring some into the office to share…
I always tell everyone that I bake “with love” and that is why they are so good! It reminds me of this gingerbread cookie – it’s a Blossom Bucket Original, and too cute! I remember my mom baking tons of gingerbread cookies one year for our Christmas tree. Our dog Bosco loved it, too! I’m sure it was one of his favorite Christmas trees! I’m pretty sure we didn’t have any gingerbread cookies anywhere on the bottom of the tree… Yum!
What is your favorite way to unwind? Do you bake? What’s your favorite thing to bake?
I’d love to hear your stories and ideas!
Have a great weekend!
Anne
