Fourth of July Patriotic Picnicware DIY!

3-c
The 4th of July is nearly here, and with it comes picnics, cookouts, fireworks, and all sorts of celebrations!
Spruce up your serving table with these festive cutlery canisters!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • •3 canisters, approx. 5″ tall
  • •3 sheets of patriotic scrapbook paper of your choice
  • •scissors
  • •glue or tape
  • •plastic cutlery
  • •Your favorite Blossom Bucket item(s)

Step One:

Select the canisters and scrapbook paper patterns that you would like to use. We simply used plastic, but you can choose whichever material and diameter works best for you.

All of these materials should be available at your local craft and scrapbooking shops.

Step Two:

Measure the height and diameter of your canister, then cut your selected papers to fit them. We used 5″ canisters, and they were an excellent fit for our cutlery.

Wrap the cut papers around each canister, and adhere with glue or clear tape.

Step Three:

Fill your canisters with colorful plastic knives, spoons, and forks for your Independence Day celebration serving table.

Then, accent your patriotic pieces with your favorite Americana pieces from Blossom Bucket, Inc!

We used our Waving Flag designed by Suzi Skoglund, which is also one of this week’s featured items!

Check out the Independence Day and Americana categories at BlossomBucket.com for more items that complement this project!
