As you are reading this blog I am beginning my week-long vacation.
It is a much needed time off and I am eagerly anticipating days filled with nothing but pool-side novel reading and late morning breakfasts………………NOT!
My daughter’s wedding is in four days and my week is crammed with last minute shopping and final detail planning. We are in the 11th hour and, ready or not, it is here. We’ve had her final dress fitting, final consultation with the caterer, and final payment made to the photographer.
As Katie and Aaron begin their life together I give them three bits of advice.
1. Always remember “The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing.” (see above)
2. Pray often.
3. Always “Kiss each other goodnight.”
Next Tuesday I will post a picture of the Bride and Groom. Until then……….back to tying bows around the centerpieces.

Your kids are the best and that is because they learned the “love of a family” from you and Dennis. Savor every moment of the wedding because the actual day flies by so quickly. Be sure to step back during the day to take it all in. Best wishes to Katie and Aaron!!
