Father’s Day is almost here, and what better way to celebrate than with a barbeque? Give the grill-master special recipe homemade barbeque sauce sealed in a special Father’s Day jar! This gift will be a tasty treat for everyone! For this project, you will need the following supplies:
Step One: |
Print out a personalized message on your cardstock. We used “#1 DAD”, but you can use anything you’d like from “Happy Father’s Day” to “Dad’s Secret Sauce,” etc. Be sure to measure your jar so that your message will fit on the front.
Step Two: |
Once your “label” is finished, use your hot glue to attach it to the jar. Tip: Have fun with your message! Print a border or other decoration on it, used special edged scissors to cut it out, etc. Fill your jar with the barbeque sauce at this time. |
Step Three: |
| Use your raffia to make a bow around the neck of the jar.
Hold your barbeque brush at an angle, and tie it to the back of the jar with the raffia bow. |

Print your selected sauce recipe out on regular paper, and roll it into a small scroll, tying it closed with a small raffia bow.
Hot glue the Blossom Bucket item you’ve chosen to the lid of the jar, and attach the scroll just behind it with a small piece of tape. For our project, we used our “I Love Dad” Block with Mug. All that’s left is to plan your barbeque! Tip: Check out the “Father’s Day” category at our website for other items that will work great for this project! |
