DIY for Dad!

3-c
Father’s Day is only a few short weeks away!

If you still haven’t decided on the perfect gift for Dad, this week’s DIY may be your answer! Not only is this project quick and inexpensive to make, you can personalize it any way you want! Best of all, it’s both fun and functional, helping Dad become more organized!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • •unfinished 10.5″ x 10.5″ dry erase board
  • •navy blue acrylic paint
  • •paint brush
  • •five 3/4″ cup hooks
  • •hot glue & gun
  • •Your favorite Blossom Bucket item(s)

Step One:

For the first step, simply paint the frame of your dry erase board, and let it dry completely before continuing.

Tip: Feel free to be creative with your project!

Select a paint color that matches your décor or the Blossom Bucket item you’ve chosen, use more than one color or, for the extra talented, add a pattern to your border!

Once dry, evenly space your cup hooks along the bottom edge of the dry erase board, and screw them into the frame.

This is another area where you can dress things up a bit.

Cup hooks are available in most discount, craft, home improvement, and hardware stores. They come in an incredible variety! We’ve used simple gold hooks, but you can choose anything that catches your eye!

Step Three:

Now, you just need to affix your selected Blossom Bucket, Inc. Father’s Day item to the top edge of your message board frame with your hot glue.

For our project, we used our “Dad” Block with Beads designed by Suzi Skoglund.

Head over to the Father’s Day category at BlossomBucket.com to find other items you can use for your dry erase board!

P.S. Don’t forget to add your own special message to the dry erase board before you present it! ♥
