I had the privilege, last week, of spending three days at the corporate office of Blossom Bucket, Inc. What a treat!! I saw firsthand what it takes to produce and deliver the superb product we have across the nation and overseas.
I met people I had only exchanged emails with, and finally got to put a face with a name. I saw how Customer Service performs their duties day-in and day-out and yes…………Annie and Kristy are just as nice in person as they sound on the phone!
Natalie’s office was just down the hall, and I honestly hardly saw her because she is one BUSY woman running the office and being a loving and doting mom!
I watched Mary Y., Accounts Receivable, take care of ALL the accounting needs……..while attending college at night.
I met Kelli, who is in charge of purchasing, and Zhen, the new Director of Human Resources and Finance, and decided I’m glad they do such a good job because I could never take care of all they do.
I also met Nita—just ask her about her grandkids and she’ll be SO happy to tell you how wonderful and well-behaved they are…..thanks to their attentive parents.
I spent half a day with Steve, the Distribution Manager, and Dave, the General Manager, learning all I need to know pertaining to their area of expertise. And Wow! Each of these men run an impressive department, and are so organized and efficient that it blows my mind. You’d be amazed at the many hardworking distribution employees who ensure that product reaches each store as quickly and safely as possible!
I also met Sarah, the Marketing Coordinator, whose office is next to Dave’s, and learned that she is the mastermind behind many endeavors, as well as Dawn who not only assists in many marketing campaigns and creates the fabulous DIY projects for the blog, but also maintains the Cash-n-Carry and Outlet Center!
I also could not help but break out in a big smile when I met Lynette….you just have to meet her to know what I mean.
I had the privilege of stuffing my face with the infamous chicken that Mary B. prepared. It was to-die-for!
And what a joy to share “the Hut” and car with Tammy, our National Sales Assistant. She has such a contagious laugh! I cannot remember when I have laughed so much.
My hat’s off to such a wonderful team, and president, Cindy, who runs such a successful and fun workplace! I have said this before but it is worth repeating…………….these are some of my most favorite people. I can’t wait to go back!
