If the mom on your gift list loves her flower bed, then this is the perfect gift for her this Mother’s Day! With everything she needs to keep her garden gorgeous, it will be a gift she can enjoy for months to come!
For this project, you will need the following supplies:
Step One: |
Fill your flower pot approximately three-quarters full with crumpled craft paper.
Tip: You may need to fill your flower pot less if you have a lot of large items to include or a little higher if all of your items are small. |
Step Two: |
Add the largest items to your gift pack first. For us, that included a watering can, a bottle of plant food, and two large packets of seeds—peonies and bleeding hearts. We also added our gardening gloves, allowing them to drape over the side of the flower pot. |
Step Three: |
| Now you just pack your gift pot with all of your smaller items.
We added a small trowel and hand rake, a few yards of plant tie, and several smaller seed packets, including sunflower seeds, mixed flower seeds, and zinnias. Lastly, we added our Blossom Bucket items in noticeable positions. We used the “Mom” Block with Beads and our “I Love Mom” Flower Pot, both designed by Suzi Skoglund. Check out the Mother’s Day or Flowers & Garden categories on our website for more items that will be perfect for this project! |
