Get Moving for May!

I just love spring time. It’s getting so green out, I don’t freeze the minute I step outside, and I can wear sandals.

Another awesome benefit to this time of year: exercising outside.

The Blossom Bucket office is right next to a walking path, and now that it’s warmer out, some of us even take walks on our lunch break!

I just love walking and hiking, and my family loves to be active together. We’ve all been following a weight loss program, and this weather is just another incentive to get moving! Between me and my mom, we’ve lost over 40 pounds all together since the beginning of this year. It’s so awesome!

Last night, I decided to take a nice long walk by myself, and start jogging. If you know me, you know I am not a jogger. Needless to say, it was an interesting time! Here’s a picture of a trail that I try to hit several times a week. I will keep you posted as we go along. Now that it’s finally nice enough out and stays light out much longer, our little walks turn into hikes that last more than an hour!
