Goodbye Snow, Hello Championships!

It’s hard to believe that the first 2 months of the year are in the book and we are already into March. We are only 4 days into March, but like just about everyone else out there, I am hoping that March is a lot different than February because I am sick and tired of shoveling snow and dealing with this cold weather.bball

I know that snow comes along with living in Ohio and a lot of other places. But getting a foot a week for about 4 weeks in a row really sucks! It is also pretty bad when you get excited about the temperature reaching 40 degrees, but right now, that would feel like spring!

But, we know that spring is just around the corner because Major League Baseball pitchers and catchers have all reported to spring training; and now that it is March, the NCAA Basketball Tournament is about to begin.

So what we are looking for around here is one more snow storm to come through, not a real bad one, but enough of one to make it the last snow of the year. Then, for our Ohio State Buckeyes, who are playing some great basketball right now, to continue to play well and make a great run in the tournament. Of course, we also want our Cavs to continue their march to a championship!

The next time I talk to you guys I hope the temperature is at least 25 to 30 degrees warmer, the snow is gone and there is another NCAA Championship pennant hanging down in the rafters at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
