Christmas in March – Goody Bag DIY

2-c
This is one of our easiest and inexpensive DIY projects yet!
Also, like many of our other projects, it’s extremely versatile, and can be easily adapted to any theme or holiday. Just think how fun this would be as a shower favor or in an Easter basket!

For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • cellophane bags
  • twist ties
  • multi-colored wrapped candies
  • curl ribbon
  • scissors
  • Your favorite Blossom Bucket ornament(s)

Step One:

Fill your cellophane bag approximately halfway full with candies, and use your twist tie to securely close the bag.

Tip: We used red, green, and silver candies for our Christmas themed bag, but you could use pastels for Easter or baby shower, etc.

Next, add your coordinating curl ribbon, covering your twist tie.

Using one piece of the ribbon, tie on your selected Blossom Bucket ornament. We used one piece from our Set of 3 Snowmen in Christmas Stockings by designer Shelly Comiskey.

Use the side of your scissors to curl the ribbon.

Once again, we used red and white ribbon to go along with our candies, but you can use any colors, and as many colors as you’d like to go along with your theme.

And that’s it! You’ve got a colorful and simple party favor, centerpiece, giveaway item, or goody bag for any occasion!

Don’t forget that larger photos of our completed projects can be viewed in the DIY album on our Facebook fan page!
