Only 4 more days until Valentine’s Day! Show your Valentine some love with personalized notes and cards displayed on your favorite Blossom Bucket photo or note holder! For this project, you will need the following supplies:

  • a variety of Valentine’s Day paper stock
  • embellishments
  • scissors
  • tissue paper
  • scalloped scrap-booking scissors
  • clear drying glue
  • Your favorite Blossom Bucket items

Step One:

Fold your selected card-stock in half to make a card. For a smaller card, first cut the stock in half, and then fold.

Tip: Most of the items for this project can be found in the scrap-booking aisle of your local craft shop or scrap-booking store.

Using your regular scissors, cut out hearts from both your card-stock and your tissue paper.

You can also use any other shapes that will work for your project.

Step Three:

Using your scalloped scissors, cut the tissue paper into a rectangle slightly smaller than your card to create an overlay.

Use the clear drying glue to affix the overlay to the card, and also add your embellishments and your own personal message!

We used scrap-booking letters to spell out words, mini roses, lips, ribbon, and more to add depth and color to our cards!
