THERE’S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!
I went grocery shopping last night and came to the conclusion that I HATE GROCERY SHOPPING! Have you ever thought about how many times you handle your groceries before they come to rest in your pantry? I counted and came up with SEVEN! Yes – I touched that box of cereal seven times before I closed my pantry door.
Think about it………..
- Grab it off the shelf and throw it into your buggy.
- Place it up on the counter to check out.
- I bag my own groceries so I put it in the grocery bag and back into the buggy.
- Take it out of the buggy and place in the car.
- Take it out of the car and carry it into your house.
- Take it out of the bag and place it on the table with the rest of the groceries.
- Place it in the pantry.
There are some grocery stores in my area that offer a special service if you call in or send your grocery list via internet but the cost increases the ole grocery budget way too much. I guess I will just continue touching those spaghetti sauce jars seven times and be glad that I have them!
We like to think that ordering from Blossom Bucket is much easier. Wholesale orders can be mailed or faxed in to our corporate office. Wholesale customers can also call in and speak with Annie, Kristy, or me, and have their ordered entered with no hassle! They can even order online at BlossomBucket.com or with their local sales rep without ever leaving their home or store! Product is then delivered right to their door in a timely manner. They only have to handle items twice: taking it out of the box, and placing it on the shelf.
Consumers can print product information sheets directly from our website to let their favorite local retailer know what they’d like to see on the stores shelves, and let the dealer handle it from there!
Now if the grocery stores would just come up with a customer-friendly ordering system that is cost effective, I would be a happy customer. Until then, I will just continue to hate grocery shopping.
