Living Room Bowling Tournament!

IMG_2084Hello, and Happy Friday!

Can you believe it’s going to be MARCH next Monday?! Seriously guys, this year is just flying by! My nephew is about to be 2 whole weeks old! It blows my mind.

If you know anything about my family, it’s that we are very close and that we love games. I don’t know if there is any month during the year that the whole gang doesn’t get together, and it’s so awesome. I wouldn’t trade it for a thing in the world!

This Sunday, we are all getting together for the “Birthdays” Party. We celebrate 3 birthdays at once – my mom, my Uncle Gary, and my Aunt Jill. They are all within 3 weeks of each other!

I’m so excited for this party for a few reasons. Number one, my family will all get to meet Nolan and hold him and just welcome him into our crazy parties. Number two, of course, we’ll be having delicious food. Number three, we will be having a bowling toIMG_2066urnament. We clear out the tables after we’re done eating, and just go for it. Some of us get really into it…

After we’re done with the bowling, we might even do a little downhill skiing… you know, just to keep our Olympic spirits up…

All in all, it will be a great day.

Does your family have any fun game nights like this? What’s your favorite game to play together!

I’m always looking for new ones – especially now, while we can’t really play games outside. Let me know! I’d love to give them a try!

Have a lovely weekend!

Anne

Thanks, Kaye! I love games. I don’t believe we’ve ever done the ping-pong! We’ll definitely have to give it a try! I do love Trivial Pursuit, too. We like to play Left-Right-Center, Phase Ten, and Skip-Bo. Game nights are wonderful!

This brought back so many memories for me. When my kids were younger we had game night once a week. One of my favorites (and I think the kids’ to) was nerf ping-pong and the dining room table! Really even when the kids were home for visits from college we played Trivial Pursuit. Some of my happiest memories.
