Today is my daughter’s birthday!

She turns 22 and shares this special day with my mother who turns 75.

It was a surprise when Katie was born on her grandmother’s birthday, but what a special event for both!  Rightfully so, she was named after her Mama G, and they have shared 22 years of celebrations together.

I know this sounds so cliché, but it seems like yesterday that this long legged, blonde haired, blue eyed, beautiful baby was born. She entered the world quietly and captured our hearts quickly.

She will be graduating from college this May, and will be married in June and moving out of the state.

As you can tell, I am both proud AND crying buckets full of tears.

MY how time flies!
