There are a lot of new buzz words floating around these days, both in industry and the private sector. Moving speedily to the top of the list is “green.”
In business, in particular, green used to mean one thing: the almighty dollar. Today, though, green has become something very different, and yet not. These days, operating in the green is quickly becoming every bit as important as operating in the black. However, many businesses are facing the challenge of accomplishing both of these goals at once when, under certain conditions, these two ends seem mutually exclusive.
So, how does a business succeed economically and environmentally?
Like innumerable businesses worldwide, Blossom Bucket, Inc. is attempting to strike the necessary balance between green and black. We have recently begun offering our customers the opportunity to receive their invoices via email, as opposed to paper invoices arriving with shipments or being mailed separately. E-invoices save time, paper, and postage making this a great green solution. This is just the beginning: as we find and develop green practices appropriate for our business, we will continue to implement them throughout the company.
How important is green business to you?
Do you look for retailers and/or business partners who are environmentally conscious?
We would love to hear about successfully implemented practices in your home or business, and your suggestions for Blossom Bucket, Inc.!

Same here. The recycling fills far faster than the garbage!
Lately I’ve enjoyed getting to know a bicycle again. It’s fun, great exercise, and very good for my carbon footprint.
Filtering water rather than buying bottled has been very good for my budget and my environment as well. Plastic water bottles last far too long!
Very informational. It hasn’t been too long ago that at home we started recycling to be ‘green’. I was really surprised how much stuff we were putting out with the garbage that could be recycled. Now it’s a habit to recyle and it’s easy.
