Today the sun is shining. That is a good thing because the snow has been falling a lot in Ohio.
February has always been a snowy time in Ohio. When I was three, my mom and dad had a birthday party for me that my relatives almost got snowed in at our house. My mom always said we had a blizzard on my birthday.
On the 16th, it was on the news that we had beaten the snow record in Akron-Canton with 26.1” of snow for the month. I did not think that was a good thing since we still had 12 days to go.
I do think the gutter repair companies are going to be busy this spring. The snow–thaw–snow–thaw process has created many icicles hanging from the gutters. I have seen some that go almost to the ground and are inches thick.
Remember: Easter is just around the corner.
