Here in Northeast Ohio, winter is still going strong. We got a nice break for a few days, but snow and ice are in the forecast once again, and snowmen will be seen in yards for weeks to come!
Since winter is lingering, we figured another winter-themed DIY might be fun!
For this project, you will need the following supplies:
Step One: |
Glue the bottom of your chosen Blossom Bucket snowman to the inside of the lid, and let dry completely.
Tip: Make sure that your jar is deeper than the height of your snowman! |
Step Two: |
Add enough water to your jar to completely cover your snowman once the lid is attached. Also add your glitter at this time. You can add as little or as much as you want, depending on how much “snow” you would like! Lastly, add 1 tablespoon of glycerin to the water. Tip: Add a small amount of glycerin around the the threading of your lid as an additional sealant. Screw the lid onto the jar, and let dry overnight. |
Step Three: |
| Once your lid is completely sealed, turn your jar upside down, and watch it snow!
You can now add coordinating ribbon, berries, or other trim to cover the lid or just give an additional splash of color! See the “Snowmen” category at BlossomBucket.com for in-stock items! |
