It was a record breaking show for many vendors at the Atlanta Market.
While there were buyers crammed into crowded showrooms, the weather was playing havoc on the Atlanta landscape. Icy Georgia highways were shut down and schools were closed for an entire week! Atlanta set its own record with record breaking low temperatures – the lowest in 20-25 years.
I have lived in Atlanta all my life, so I get pretty excited when a snow storm comes our way. While working in the showroom last week Atlanta experienced a real live ice/snow storm, and I missed it! The above photo may not look like much snow to some, but it is a TON for us!
I was stranded downtown and couldn’t get home for 3 days. My children enjoyed it though, and promptly sent me pictures of them playing while I was writing orders for Blossom Bucket. At right is Patrick and Sarah using an old sled that has never been used!
