I love Christmas! I love the warm feeling you get when surrounded by your friends and family, the smell of a freshly cut pine tree in your living room, and most of all the memories. I have so many Christmas memories growing up. Another one of my favorites would have to be going to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree.
Something we all did together, every year, no matter what. Setting off through the millions of pine trees trying to find that perfect one! After a couple of years we learned that the trees look smaller when they are out doors. If you get a real Christmas tree you probably know what I am talking about! When we found our tree we would take turns dragging it back to the cabin to have it wrapped, making a mad dash for hot cocoa and a warm wood burning stove to sit by. I have carried on our family tradition to my family now. Hopefully building the many memories I still carry with me. We just went last week. I could see the glimmer of excitement in my children’s eyes, the same one I probably had as a child. This is a picture of my kids, my nieces and nephew at the farm. Always a fun time with the little ones! The only thing missing this year was the snow.
