Christmas Memories: Robin Davis

Robin Davis, another member of the Blossom Bucket family of designers, shares her incredible stories!

What are your earliest Christmas memories?

I remember the Christmas my Dad had built my sister and I a Barbie doll house, complete with hinges on the doors and windows. Mom decorated the house quite fashionably with wallpaper and stylish furniture for Barbie! My sister and I played with that doll house for days on end!! I was 6 and my sister Alison was 8. I will always remember my Mom and Dad’s faces when they saw our reaction to the doll house for the first time. It was a true labor of love!

How have they affected your designs?

I have nothing but wonderful fond memories of Christmases full of family, food and fun! Christmas was always magical, and still is for me! I hope my designs reflect that.

What is your Christmas design inspiration?

My design focus is always FAMILY and what it means to me. I hope that all my designs make people smile!098-82401

What is your favorite Christmas piece with Blossom Bucket? Why?

Oh, I have so many favorites but right now I would have to say that I LOVE my Woodland Nativity piece. It’s just a sweet newer version of the Christmas nativity that I’m very proud of.

Has th0988-82433ere been a piece that has been an unexpected success for you with Blossom Bucket? What is it?

Well I’m still a new designer with Blossom Bucket and I’m so thrilled with the success of many of my designs but I am very proud of the success of Treasure Angel in the Nature’s Blessings collection.

This is the first time I’ve seen this nativity from Robin Davis. Even though it is simplistic it really has caught my eye. It gave my such a warm feeling I stared at it for several minutes before I could even come up with the right words to compliment it. As always, great work Robin and Blossom Bucket.
