We recently asked our designers, sales representatives, and staff to share some of their favorite Christmas memories and inspirations. Over the coming days, we will be sharing their responses with you. Here is what Joyce Suckel from Board N Batten, our Canadian distributor, had to say!
What are your earliest Christmas memories?
My father standing outside of our bedroom door saying “Ho Ho Ho — Santa’s been here” – but not letting us come out until our parents had their coffee and were ready to sit and watch our faces as we came into the living room and saw presents under the tree.
Wanting a tool set so badly and being so disappointed because I didn’t get it – only to find it hidden until everything else was opened!
What is your favorite Christmas piece with Blossom Bucket? Why?
Robin Davis’s Santa and reindeer….why? She is Canadian and I love that Blossom works with Canadian artists….and because her Santa is so very happy and jolly – and her reindeer are wonderfully whimsical
What advice do you have for your customers this holiday season?
Celebrate the season and the reason for it….don’t overspend – the small little Christmas keepsakes are sometimes the best gifts because they are kept and brought out year after year to enjoy…Blossom Bucket has so many reasonably priced Christmas “memories” to brighten our faces and warm our hearts!
Is there anything else you would like to say to consumers and retailers this holiday season?
Enjoy this great time of year – talk to your customers – share happiness with each person you come into contact with - strive for peace within your heart – it will show in every conversation you have and brighten your day as much as it does theirs!
