What do you do to protect your tools? Personally I find that the men in my life have used their tools and left the tools lay wherever they completed the last project. Then when they cannot find them they want to know what you did with whatever they happen to be looking for at the moment.
When you decide to hang that picture, tighten the light switch plate or whatever it seems only you notice that needs done you cannot locate a screwdriver or hammer to complete the job. I have a rectangular plastic container in my kitchen cupboard that has hammer, screwdrivers, nails, screws, vice grips and electrical tape. I have found this to be a safe place to keep the tools I need. The fix it projects takes less time if you do not have to hunt for the tools.

Along with personalizing your tools to make them your own, do you have a special place for them outside your normal everyday toolbox?

That’s the truth. If I have to hunt too much for the tools, I’ll forget what I meant to do!
