Spooky Halloween Wreath DIY

atlanta-july-09-006In a slight departure from our normal weekly do it yourself projects, for the next few Wednesdays, we will be sharing a few of decorating tips that we’ve used in our permanent showrooms.

These ideas and suggestions can easily be adapted for your home or business!

This photo is from our showroom in Atlanta, which we had the opportunity to expand last year.  We were able to add a number of extra creative touches for each season!

For this wreath, we started with a blue wreath, which you should be able to pick up at most discount and/or craft stores.

We wrapped a strand of standard orange twinkle lights around the wreath, then added our Set of 8 Halloween Characters Ornaments designed by Michelle Rutta throughout.

To add to the fall motif, we included a few artificial leaves and a bit of grapevine that we stained black.

Don’t be afraid to let your imagination run wild!  Blue may not be a traditional Halloween color, but it was fun to use and, instead of blending with our ornaments, it helped them stand out.

Like many of our other DIY projects, this one is extremely versatile.  You could create a similar wreath in any variety of colors and themes using any Blossom Bucket ornaments!

Have a Safe and Happy Halloween!
