Whether you’re looking for a centerpiece for your holiday table, a colorful fall conversation piece, or a creative display to complement your harvest collection, we’ve got the perfect pumpkin project!
For this project, you will need the following supplies:
Step One: |
Using your carving knife, create an opening in the top of your pumpkin. You will want the opening to be large enough so that you can comfortably reach inside. |
Step Two: |
Place your foam inside the pumpkin.
Tip: You can also complete this project using fresh materials. You’ll need to completely hollow out your pumpkin. You will also need to use genuine floral foam inside the pumpkin. Just poke holes in the foam, and thoroughly wet it to keep your arrangement fresh. |
Step Three: |
| Begin placing your leaves and flowers into your pumpkin base. Start with the outside edges and work inward as you add to your arrangement. Use your hot glue to keep your leaves and flowers in place. |
Step Four: |

Once you have added all of your flowers, it’s time to move on to your Blossom Bucket pieces!
We used all or part of the following items:
Using your drill press, create a hole in the bottom of your resin pumpkins that is the same diameter as your dowels. |
Step Five: |
| Trim your dowels to your desired length with your wire cutters. Place some hot glue on the end of the dowels, and insert them into your Blossom Bucket pieces.
Tip: Because the dowels will be scattered about within your arrangement, you may want to use varying lengths. Once the glue is dry, place your pumpkins throughout your arrangement! Push the ends of the dowels into the foam insert to hold them in place. |

What a great idea. I need to try it. I’m loving the pumpkin theme this year for fall.
oh, very pretty!
How colorful. One thing I really like about this project is that you could have it displayed Sept, Oct and Nov. I just love anything with fall leaves so this project gets high marks in my book. Keep up the great work!
