I know many of you have been anticipating the arrival of our new Amish line. Great news! We have them in and we’re getting ready to send them out to the stores. These pieces are truly unique, and a “must have” to spice up your collection. They have extreme detail from top to bottom. But, why no face you ask? The Amish believe that the Biblical reference in the Ten Commandments which speaks of a “graven image” is in the reference to the image of a face. For this reason the Amish do not like to be sketched or photographed. Our designer, Esther O’Hara, along with many artists, create Amish designs without faces in respect of their beliefs.
