As the winter show season is starting to wrap up, I think we can honestly say that 2010 is starting out on the right foot.
All of the shows have been very upbeat, with customers ready to buy new products. We did not hear the discouragement that we did last year.
I think everyone who made it through 2009 learned an awful lot. We learned how to operate leaner and be creative. I know it was certainly a challenging year to get through, but we can all be very proud that we have come out of it stronger and smarter!

We watch the weather daily to see if we have to deal with snow. When winter hits, it can affect our warehousing/distribution.
A few weeks ago we had lake effect snow, and man did it come down! We had containers coming in, and it got to be interesting. One of the truck drivers took a turn a little too close to the corner. The back end slid down in to the ditch and buried the back end of our container in the snow. You can say we had to wait awhile to get this container unloaded.

So that you will feel smarter today I wanted to remind you that it is GROUNDHOG DAY!
According to folklore, if a groundhog emerging from its burrow on this day fails to see its shadow, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If on the other hand, the groundhog sees its shadow, the groundhog will supposedly retreat into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.
COME ON BABY…….DON’T SEE YOUR SHADOW!!!!!!!!!

Hi! The weekend is here!
Today I would like to talk about Easter. Although it seems far off, it’s right around the corner!
This year Easter is April 4th. And you may already see some Easter items popping up on the shelves of your favorite retailers. Here at the ‘Bucket, we are already beginning to sell out of some Easter product!
One of my favorite items we still have stock on is “Powered by Jellybeans” designed by Barbara Lloyd, which retails for under $10!

Hi, and Happy Friday!
Show season is winding down, and I’m finally starting to have parts of my desk cleared off again! We’ve had such a great show season this month. I have to admit that I love this time of show season – we’re getting caught up on paperwork, and not having to dip into our “Emergency Chocolate” stash as much!
